Yesterday was without doubt the most full day of my hitherto dull and drab summer, and it was also the last.

To begin at the begining! I got up rather early to go have breakfast with Lynette (who I hadn't seen in rather a while) and we hung out at her house and made pancakes and I had brought my Moulin Rouge soundtracks which she hadn't heard before and burned to her computer...yes, must spread Moulin Rouge love.

Afterwards, I went straight from her house to GVSU, where there was an orientation thing for art freshman that returning students were also invited to (involving free lunch). It was so nice seeing people again...I was really glad that school starts on Mon, otherwise it would have been very sad.
After lunch I bought my books and headed home to pick up my Mom, and the two of us proceeded to my friend Racheal's wedding. It seems strange somehow that a friend of mine is now married. And Rebekah (my sister) is engaged, and another friend just got engaged...makes me feel like my group of friends is irrevocably grown up. It feels odd. But anyway, it was a really lovely wedding, and I met a friend (Caleb) from band there who I hadn't seen in two years, and we were able to get catch up on each others lives and exchange emails so we don't completely loose track again.

And guess what. At the reception, I caught the bouquet. Honestly, I think I'd be the LAST single girl there who be the next one married...but it was fun. The whole reception was fun actually...they played a bunch of oldies which were a blast to dance to. And there were bottles of wine and sparkling grape juice on every table (wanna guess which I had?) Oh, and I can tell you here and now, that when you have a girl and a guy who have both never really danced before, the girl will always dance better. I saw it. I experienced it...and yeah. It must be in our nature or something.

Once home in the evening, Rob, Rebekah and I hashed over wedding ideas and plans, and I was still all energized from the day, so nipped over to Blockbuster and rented a couple movies to wind things down. We watched the original Bad News Bears, which was actually quite amusing and well done. I reccomend it.

And tomorrow life will start again.

She was engaged to be engaged until about three days ago when she became mostly engaged, now all she needs is the ring to be completely engaged.

So who is this special someone that you are going to be walking down the isle with ;) ? How were the first couple days of your classes?

Me?! I'm not planning on getting married for quite a while yet! I want to go to grad school after getting my BFA, probably in California, so a relationship is definatly not practical for several years yet.
And classes were awesome!

Glad to hear about your classes. What is BFA? I know a BA is Bachelors of Arts degree. What is the "F" for?

BFA is Bachelor of Fine Arts. One can get a BA without being an art major, or fine arts major as it technically is.
