Mar. 2nd, 2008 05:06 pmI finally saw Black Adder... or is it Blackadder... I'm not quite sure how to spell it...
Anyway! I watched the first two seasons/series in nearly one go, and have been completely hooked. There was definitely a light-bulb moment when I realized that THAT'S why everyone and their neighbor told me to see it (or was shocked that I hadn't already). I instantly copied the second season for my own future enjoyment, and fully intend to hunt down the next two before break is over.
The theme song is firmly stuck in my head now though, and it'll be ages before I'll get it out. At least it's better than Loch Lomond which was running over and over inside my head for the past week and a bit and which I don't even LIKE.
And on a slightly related note, KatieJacobs came over last night (armed with sewing and a stack of movies... including Blackadder, which is where I got it from and which ties both paragraphs together nicely), and helped me take pictures of my Regency corset that I made over Christmas break. I wore it with the chemise that I made the other week. And in a fit of productivity I updated my website with it that very night after Katie left!

More pictures and a bit of write-up are here.
