(no subject)

I've not really been inspired to be on LJ much lately...dunno why. I've been mostly keeping up with my f-list, but for the most part I could care less about reading and writing here. Maybe I'm just jealous because I'm not at costume college, maybe the three weeks I have left until school starts are shrinking rapidly and my mind is so very taken up with living life that the computer has lost much of its appeal. And I will not lie, much of the time that I AM on the computer, I'm at DeviantArt, updating and browsing there...and I've been very inspired to Do Things. I've been putting some stuff from the Best Class Ever (ie. Figure Painting) up there, and I've been painting and drawing a lot this past week or two. I think it's a good situation all around though. When school DOES start, I'll have less time to computerize anyway, and I'll have to spend all my time thinking about art. I guess I'm sort of easing into it a little right now.

And I've totally given up on trying to finish the Violet dress before Halloween. It's just too big a project, and I have so many other things I have to do that I'd go completely insane trying to get it done. I think I'm actually mostly through with this summer's (year's, most like) costuming endeavours. I have a lot of "real clothes" sewing to do in these last couple weeks, and I'd rather not spread myself too thin.
