I just got home from seeing the Goblet of Fire......it's not even on a level with the first three...it's...above, incredible, and terribly real. It's almost hard to believe it's the same story as the first three films it's so much better. And I truely didn't draw a breath from the quidditch world cup til the closing credits. It was amazingly funny and heartwrenchingly sad. You know, I always felt sorry for Harry when reading the fourth book, but I didn't properly appreciate how grossly unfair and cruel it was to throw a fourteen year old into such a situation. And no one, however old, should have to go through a scene like the graveyard. And in the film you really got the sense of how different Harry is from all the other students, and how alone he feels. And the directing! My word! They ought to have had Mike Newell direct them ALL! It doesn't feel like some school they attend. It's really where they live. As for the acting...Dan Radcliffe and Emma Watson really blew me away. I can't wait to see how they do in the Order of the Pheonix!
