Slytherinness

I spent my afternoon sewing the easiest, most gratifying costume EVER! I finished hemming the blasted underskirt yesterday and then went to the fabric store and bought some green and black knit fabric for my Hogwarts Slytherin champion top...I discovered it was on sale. Much happiness. So today I slept in really really late before finally eating lunch and getting to business. I had almost finished sewing the top when the mail arrived, and in it was the patch I ordered for this project! More happiness. I took a couple pictures when it was almost done, but completely finished it sometime after dinner and by that time the camara batteries had decided to die on me. (they do that a lot) One of the best things about this costume is that I didn't have to make the pants! When my Mom and I were at the mall the other day, I found a pair of black athletic pants with white stripes up the leg, and I figured it would be really easy to paint them green, thus saving me on time and energy, and since they fit perfectly and I wasn't paying, we got them. So now all I have left is painting the pants stripes green...aside from that, this one day project is done! *waves banner* I really needed something fun and easy to sew.
