(no subject)

Today after finishing my color-aid collage and finally vacuuming my disgusting floor, I got out all the stuff for the fronticepiece for my Padmé dress, and instead of stroking it lovingly and then packing everything away, this time I actually started it!  Even though I techincally should have started a new still life instead, I cut out my fabric and lace and interfacing and sewed that all together (actually I used fabric glue for the lace, but never mind) and I just finished sewing bugle beads all around the edge when I realised that even though my lace is cream, it's still too light. So, I liberally applied tea (with a paint brush though) and now it's sitting on my desk drying. Oooooooh it's so cool! And I want to say a HUGE thank you to Maggie (padawansguide ) for her amazing site, without which I could never be making this.
