Dawdling...

Guess what I should be doing right now.
Yup.
Drawing.
But today feels like a fabric day, a sunny, breezy easy day. I did WANT to draw, but I couldn't focus and ended up writing for ages in my 'real' diary. The kind with pages and everything. Anyway, I got a picture of my skirt, and because I'm too lazy to put it on photobucket I'm just going to have a link to in on my website. http://www.freewebs.com/behindthetapestry/currentfutureprojects.htm
The problem is I really haven't gotten very far with this Very Final Drawing. I know it's the last one, and I know I should make it perfect, but this is a literature day! Not an art day! Goodness, I need to exersise more self control and make the day what I need it to be instead of how I 'feel' it is. *sigh* I was going to say something else but it's escaping me. Ta ta for now!

Date: 2005-04-10 04:00 pm (UTC)I was looking at your other costumes - and is that Italian Renaissance gown a Mccall pattern? It looks just like my very first costume (after the jedi costume)!
I love your regency gowns! :-)
Let me know when you get to the Violet B costume - it's on my list for when I finish the picnic costume!

Still, I think someday I might redo it so it at least fits properly and has a chemise! Nothing I can do about the darts though...but it did teach me a great deal.
Oh, and trust me, when I start Violet's dress, EVERYONE will hear about it. ;) We'll just have to see who gets to it first!
