Apr. 4th, 2008 04:43 pmThere is very bad soldering-foo here in the shop today.
After completely melting one bezel and sort of melting two more, and the girl across from me accidentally soldered her hinge together, I decided to call it a bad job and throw in the towel. Perhaps I'll do better tomorrow at soldering the nearly-invisible half jump-rings to the large(ish) brass flowers. I can't understand why I thought it was a good idea in the first place... there HAS to be an easier way to solder something tiny to something chunky.
Perhaps painting will go better...
Just WHY do I want to be an artist again?!
Oh yeah.... it's not "boring."
It's times like these where I wish I swore outside my head.
