I love that there's no siding on any of the houses.

I can't believe I go home in less than a week.

And it seems grossly unfair that my cousin Emily and I should have grown up so far apart. We have SO much in common it's almost beyond words! A love of theatre and art (she's thinking of majoring in art), enjoy the same sort of music, love the same movies....... we even have the same taste in shoes. And I had to leave Abergavveny this morning, and I won't see her again for at least a year. Leaving her kind of made me lose some of my sense of adventure.

But on the bright side, Aberystwyth is a really nice city, and tomorrow I'm headed for Oxford. It still kind of feels like I just got here though... if anything, I can't say I've been bored.

And I feel I should comment on the shopping here. There are two sides to the issue. The first is that everything is about twice as expensive as back home. The second is that the selection of shoes and clothes is FAR more to my taste than what's available in MI. In other words... I'm bringing back rather a bit more than I originally brought with me, including two pairs of shoes that I absolutely love. LOVE!!!! I'll have to take pictures when I get home.
