(no subject)

The summer is now over.

School starts on Mon, and I'll be out all day tomorrow and most of Sun. So, yeah, this is it. I ought to take advantage of my last few moments of freedoms and Do Stuff, but I find myself puttering around the house, and doing nothing of any consequence.  I was thinking though that I might take pictures of all the clothes I've made this summer...I actually did a healthy amount of sewing of real clothes, I have a dress, knickers, pants, a skirt, and a little jumper which is cut out but not sewn together yet. 
And Joseph's and Mama's paintings aren't done yet...bad Gwendolyn, and I have to move into Joseph's old room next week and my own room is a horrid mess. So, in short, I most definately do NOT have a lack of things to do, I simply lack motivation. 
And it's a bit depressing that through the whole summer I only made the Doublet Ensemble costume-wise. Yeah, I worked a bit on the V.B. dress, but it certainly didn't get DONE. Last summer I made the three Star Wars costumes plus the Elizabethan dress, but then, I didn't make them as well as I did the doublet outfit, so I guess it evens out a little. But I can't help wanting a whole closet full of beautiful clothes/costumes immediately...maybe I might be able to continue sewing through the school year a bit. I don't have any classes on Fridays, and I get done at 2 in the afternoon every other day...so even though I'll have homework that I'll have to stay at school for, I still ought to be able to keep most of my evenings at least........*plots*

I think I'm going to go clean my room and maybe put that jumper together.
