(no subject)

I was going to finish the 1933 dress last night, but what should happen but I ran out of thread! Grrrrr....I was on a roll too. I'll be able to pick up more thread at work tonight, but still, I only had the neck facing and hemming of the hem and sleeves and I would have been done! *pouts* Then again, it's kinda irrational and silly of me to be whining about not being able to finish a dress in two days, when the Violet dress has been going since Dec. Speaking of which, I suppose I could spend the time I'm not finishing the '33 dress in, in ironing more pleats...yeah, I should probably do that.

Today's my birthday, but I have a sneaky feeling nothing very special will happen and it will be a day of intense ordinaryness...unless I take off work tonight to have fun of some sort, but I can't loose the money. Alas. At least tomorrow ought to be fun...my favorite people in the whole world all in the same place...'twill be grand..
