A Year of Books

I have decided to make a resolution I will actually enjoy keeping, I have resolved to make this a year of books. I will buy at least one new book with every paycheck, so at the end of the year I will have a minimum of 24 new books. This is of course, not including the books I intend to ask for as birthday and Christmas presents and what I plan to buy at Bristol. Bristol has its own little fund I keep seperate from everything else, and I definately want to buy books when I go again this year. And to start the new year off on a good note, I'm buying my own copy of The Costume Technician's Handbook...then I might be able to return the library's copy I've had checked out and renewed for umpteen times.

V.B. Dress progress

I just took my new dress diary for the Violet Beaudelaire dress from where it was languishing in Word, and put in on my website here. I dunno how many people are that interested, but if nothing else, this is for Katie. And I firmly believe that this dress will screw with my mind at some point, and in the distant future I will want a record of my insanity. And I just got around to ordering my grey organza and some black organza ribbon...now all I need is that blasted black velvet ribbon that we ordered a month ago at work and which Still Hasn't Come In!!!!!
