Oh joy, oh rapture......

It has been a Good Day. In fact, it has been a pretty good couple of days. In fact, life is simply wonderful! Divine! Okay, last night I didn't have any homework (psyc doesn't count) so I snatched a golden opportunity and spend all evening bonding with my sewing machine and I now have a Packing Skirt!!!! I don't have pictures of it though because the only way I could get any is with my sister's camara phone and she's out, but this brings me to my second bit of good fortune. My dad just ordered and bought a digital camara!!! It sounds really nice from what he said. 5.-something megapixels. This means that once it arrives I won't have to wait months to get pics of my costumes. In fact, I'll even be able to take progress pictures! 'Tis very cool. I don't feel like cutting, but this next bit will probably only interest rvqavalon and indeed is addressed to her: I was figuring out my schedual of classes for next year and I made a wonderful discovery. GVSU doesn't offer one costume class, it has two! There's Costume Construction offered in the fall, and Costume Design in the winter with a prereq of costume construction! I've managed to arrange my schedual to be able to take both, but I can't actually sign up for classes until April 1st, which sucks.And because it might be ages and ages before we actually arrange to meet, I'll tell you (and the world)about my Grand Plan. I want to start a mostly historic costume society at Grand Valley, with the main goal to be aiding each other in the researching and creating of accurate costumes from history and from movies. One wouldn't have to have much sewing experience to join, I want to spread the costume love. I've had a LOT of people tell me they'd love to join such a group, but I'd need someone else with realsewing experience and a machine (lol) to help me give the group some solid ground and backbone.
