Arg. I just wrote a whole long thing about last night, and all the stuff I bought at the fabric store today, but the computer ate it and I'm too tired to type it all out again, so you'll just have to wait 'til later.

I've managed to scrape together the motivation to re-type everything out again. And if one wonders why I'm a bit weary, it's because I didn't get to bed until 2:45 last night. I was down at Allandale (on campus) to finsh my basla wood sculpures (I got them all done, Yay!) and the entire 3D room was FULL of students trying to get theirs done too. It was actually really nice, we all knew each other and it was so much more relaxed and energized that when we work in class. It rather made me wish I lived on campus and could always do my homework with a group.
As for the fabric store! I stopped on my way home this aftermorning, and picked up a whole bunch of little things I need for both projects. I found what seems to be the perfect color dye for my V.B. dress! It's called black plum, and according to the box, it looks like charcoal with a hint of purple. Perfect! I just hope the box isn't lying to me. And then I got beads and lace and interfacing for the fronticepiece of Padmé's Packing, and the McCall's pattern for the sleeves of said packing gown.
