(no subject)

I do seriously think that the art department at GVSU wants to crush its freshman into the dust. We are being clonked by stacks of homework and I forsee all nighters and hysterics when foundation review rolls around in the spring. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying school and most of my work, it's just that there's so much of it that I don't have time for ANYTHING else. I have some fabric sitting in my drawer that calls to me each and every day, and I must refuse it in order to draw a still life or do a strip study (with teeny strips of paper) or a collage or else study algebra or psychology. And I have an exam in both those subjects begining of next week and six 8" balsa sculptures due at the same time and I've only done three! I'm doomed. I can get them all done I think, but I can't guarantee stellar quality. Woe is me. Wood and I are not getting along very well. I must trot along now, I have strip study and a still life to finish. Lucky me!
