At least the weird name translations in Harry Potter make sense. They're not pretty (Omygawd Poudlard... I'll never, ever get over that), but they're a pretty litteral translation from the English. In Ep. IV, mostly the translators didn't understand what they were translating. "Jabba le Forestier" *sigh*...
